Up to the Beloi Beach Bar this evening for happy hour with the holidaying fishermen and Glenn and Jenny. The fishermen couldn’t believe how good the spot is. Their tourist guide didn’t show it to them.

Goodbye to Atauro Island
On Glenn’s boat at 7am and over to Dili. Sad to leave Atauro Island, but great to get going again.
Getting the cars only took two hours. No customs checks. Barry found the container, as the officials couldn’t. Rina got on the 50 tonne forklift and showed the operator where to go. Put the container on the ground in the middle of the yard, broke the lock, cost $10, paid the chief guy a bribe of $50, and drove the cars out. Parked them on the street, cd playing was John Williamson, Hey True Blue.
We said goodbye to Rina, then headed west and ended up camped within 5km of the Indo border. Nice flat spot, bush cover, near Balibo.
